John, alias, Buck, a man of colour emancipated by the Rev.d John Poindexter, by Deed Duly admitted to Record in the said office, this day made application to be Registered in the s.d County Court office, agreeably to the Act of assembly in that Case made & provided The said John, alias Buck, is about twenty one Years of age, five feet 7 1/2 inches high, bushy head of hair, light complexion, with a mole on the left cheek & a scar over the right eye brow near the edge of the hair. Given under my hand this 11th day of February 1816. (Sig.) Wm Anderson D.C. L.C. The above Register approbated by Louisa Court Feby. 12th 1816

Jinney, a Negro woman emancipated by the last Will & Testament of Christopher Wood dec.d, late of s.d County about 25 or 26 years of age, very black, thin head of hair, no apparant mark, wide mouth, five feet seven Inches high. Registered this 19th day of June 1816. Louisa County. (Sig,) Jno. Poindexter C.L.C
