Title
Arminius Mines Postcard
Subject
mining
Description
This postcard displays the buildings of the Arminius Mines in the wintertime. Winter presented a whole new set of challenges for the mines. During the colder months, moisture would enter the ore and freeze while it was transported in railroad cars. When the cars were opened at their destination, workers would find the ore to be unsellable, causing significant loss for the Arminius mines.
