Dear Miss Hayden:
Your letter of recent date, addressed to Dr. Dillard, is received in his absence from the city. I recall that Mr. Gresham wrote Dr. Dillard concerning the school at Shady Grove some time ago. Dr. Dillard’s attention will be called to your letter as soon as he returns to the office, which will perhaps not be for another week.
Very truly,
Gertrude C. Mann
