In Louisa County Court Clerks Office, September the 8.th 1831. Dabney (son of Nelly) a negro boy, emancipated by the last will and testament of Richard Sandidge dec.d of record in the said office, this day made application to be registered, according to Law. It is therefore certified to all whom it may concern, that the said Dabney is about five feet five & half inches high, in the twentieth year of his age, of light complexion, bushy hair, has a large scar on the left leg a little above the ancle on the outer side of the leg, and no other apparent mark or scar deemed worthy of notice
